Some of you are looking forward to the Week 1 game on September 11th against the Lions. Or maybe home against the Vikings. But I have another date in mind.
Return to Philadelphia
On October 2nd, we will be attending our third Eagles game against the Jacksonville Jaguars and the return of Super Bowl Champion Doug Pederson to Philadelphia since the end of the 2020 season. October 6, 2019 Our first game since the Blowout against the Jets. It was our first time in Philly after spending most of the week in New York, and we’re excited to be back in the City of Brotherly Love. Our first Eagles & NFL game was the 2018 playoff game against the Rams – when Nick Foles returned to the starting position. Sometimes these games feel like ages ago, and rightfully so. Doug Pederson is now coaching the Jaguars and Jalen Hurts is the QB1.
We ate cheesesteaks. We should cheer for the Eagles. but I spend more time going back to Philly. It was great to spend the weekend in the city, but we wish we had more time in the city to do more. That means another trip was needed.
Philadelphia, I need your help here. We have been in the city for 5 days. With Game 2, I’m looking for tips for locals. Best places to eat? Best drinks? Best beer? Things we need to see. things we have to do! We have our own list of things we find on the Internet that we definitely want to hit. But I want local suggestions. After watching the incredible 31-6 Blowout at the Linc, we hit popular destinations like the Rocky Steps, the Liberty Bell, and many well-deserved Pat and Geno’s for the first time.
Below is my post on Twitter, Tell me what we should do! We stay in the Central City area and are open to all that the city has to offer.
I’m in Philly for exactly 7 weeks from today!
